Averites is an international legal practice operating through separate and distinct legal entities, including Chornous Law PLLC, a professional service limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New York (registration number 7880497), and Averites Attorneys at Law, an attorneys’ association organized under the laws of Ukraine (registration number 46349880).
References to “Averites”
References in this Legal Notice and elsewhere on this website to “Averites,” “we,” “us” or “our” refer, as the context requires, to Chornous Law PLLC, Averites Attorneys at Law, or any other legal practice expressly authorised to operate under the Averites name.
Separate Legal Entities
Each Averites legal practice is a separate and distinct legal entity. The use of the Averites name does not create a partnership or other single legal entity among those practices. Each practice is responsible for the legal services that it provides, and the entity or entities responsible for any particular engagement will be identified in the applicable engagement letter or other terms of engagement.
Jurisdiction & Legal Services
For U.S. matters, legal services are provided by CHORNOUS LAW PLLC, a New York professional service limited liability company. Such services are provided only in jurisdictions where the relevant lawyers are authorized to practice or as otherwise permitted by applicable law and professional rules.
In Ukraine, legal services are provided by Averites Attorneys at Law, an attorneys’ association organized under the laws of Ukraine.
England & Wales / SRA
Neither CHORNOUS LAW PLLC nor Averites Attorneys at Law is authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Certain legal services relating to England and Wales may be provided by individual solicitors who are personally authorised and regulated by the SRA. Where such services are provided, the relevant solicitor’s capacity and regulatory status, together with the client protections applicable to the engagement, will be identified in the applicable engagement documentation.
